The Pakistani actor Saba Qamar Zaman was born on April 5, 1984, and most of her work is in Urdu movies and TV shows. One of the most famous and well-paid actors in Pakistan is Qamar. Acting Career of Saba Qamar
In the Beginning
Back in 2004,
Saba Qamar start her acting career in 2004 with the PTV show Mein Aurat Hoon, Qamar. After that, she played opposite Bilal Qureshi in the Geo Entertainment telefilm Ishq, which was directed by Dilawar Malik. In late that same year, she played Boliyan’s model in the Abrar-ul-Haq music video from the award-winning CD Nachan Main Audhay Naal.
Back in 2005
In 2005, Sami Khan and Qamar were both in ATV’s Chaap. She then played Tania in the comedy-drama Sussar In Law when Sophia Mirza was sick. As Sonia in Episodes 40 and 41 of Hera Pheri & Company, she made guest appearances. In Episode Faisla of the Punjabi showcase show Jag Beeti for PTV, she did the same.
Back in 2006
During 2006, she was in a number of well-known PTV shows, such as Kahin Tum Kahin Hum, Phool, Apno Ka Sath, and Dhoop Mein Andhera Hai. ATV’s romance Woh Subha Kab Aayegi, the comic series Not Responding, and Nawab Manzil all had Qamar in them in 2008. Later, she played four minor parts on PTV: Chubhan, Na Janay Kyun, Phool Aur Kantey, and Bint-e-Adam. In the social drama Bint-e-Adam, she was played by Ahsan Khan as a spoilt brat who falls in love with a poor boy and marries him against her cruel father’s wishes. Bint e Adam was a big hit with both audiences and critics, but some people said that her playing was “limited.”

In the year 2009
She played Jinnah in the 2009 biographical film Jinnah Ke Naam, which was made by PTV Home and directed by Tariq Mairaj. First Step
In the year 2009
In Hum TV’s pre-partition show Dastaan, based on the book by Razia Butt, Saba Qamar played the supporting role of Surraya. Sanam Baloch, Fawad Khan, and Ahsan Khan were all standing next to her. It was her big break, and the Pakistan Media Awards gave her the award for Best TV Actress. She later played the lead role of Pooja Mohan Das in Kanpur Se Katas Tak, an Indus Vision drama based on the split.
Later, Qamar was in two A-Plus shows called Rait Kay Dairay and Andhay Log. Then, for Geo Entertainment, she was in the social drama Uraan and the soap opera Chaand Ki Goud Mein. After that, Qamar acted with Shamil Khan in the PTV Home show Lahore Junction. He also played Kashif Mehmood in ATV’s Amar Bel and Sami Khan in Ghao. The year 2011
In Sarmad Khoosat’s 2011 love story Pani Jaisa Pani, Saba Qamar played the lead role of Sana, who has been promised to Adarsh, the son of her mother’s best friend, since she was a kid. But Adarsh hasn’t heard about this yet because his parents thought he should focus on schoolwork rather than planning the wedding.
Another part in PTV’s Tera Pyar Nahi Bhoole followed. She worked with Ahsan Khan the whole show. Following that, she played roles in the PTV Home shows Khalida Ki Walida, Main Aisa Kyun Hoon, Nazar, and Two In One. Later that year, she played the self-centred Saman in Maat, which also stars Adnan Siddiqui and Aamina Sheikh. Next, Qamar played Sadaf in Ameen Iqbal’s Thakan (2012). Sadaf is a character who works like a machine day and night to take care of her family, but no one has any sympathy for her or even cares about her. She went on to star in two Eid Telefilms by ARY Digital, Love Ki Kichri and Pyaar Mein Twins. Lead roles in the 2012 films Na Kaho Tum Mere Nahi by Amna Nawaz Khan and Yahan Pyar Nahin Hai by Faiza Iftikhar. This actress was nominated for a Hum Award for Best Actress. The year 2013

She was in six dramas: Jaanam, Bay Emaan Mohabbat, Na Katro Pankh Mere (with Danish Taimoor for the first time), Bunty I Love You, Izteraab, and Digest Writer. Bunty I Love You, a family drama about a girl who married an older man when she was 17 and later dreams of being free after he dies, was Qamar’s first critical success since Maat. However, the romantic drama Jaanam (with Adnan Siddiqui) and the romance Bay Emaan Mohabbat (with Agha Ali and Adnan Shah Tipu) did not get much praise.
The show got mostly good reviews while it was being directed by Siraj-ul-Haque. Daily Pakistan writer said it was “one of Qamar’s best performances,” along with Digest Writer. The show was up for five Hum Awards, and Qamar was nominated for Best Actress. She then showed up in Izteraab. Even though the play had a great cast, story, production house, and marketing, her performance as the working woman did not go well. It was a huge failure at the box office and with critics. She later did work for Wajahat Rauf on HUM TV. Rauf directed the story show Shareek-e-Hayat.
The year 2019
Badar Mehmood directed the thriller Cheekh, which Saba Qamar played the lead role in. Bilal Abbas Khan played Wajih, Emmad Irfani played Shayaan, Azekah Daniel played Haya, and Aijaz Aslam played Yawar in that play. In that play, she was Mannat, a strong and brave woman who wants Nayab’s friend to be punished. The play she was in got the most viewers of the whole year. In 2019, Qamar played a strong-willed girl fighting for justice in the crime movie Cheekh. It has been called a financial and critical smash hit.
In the years 2024 and 2025
